Emmigration has always been part of the ebb and flow of man. It is a word that views this movement from the prospective of Here and carries with it a wistful sense of loss. But it needn't be so.  Emmigrants are also pioneers, our connected people establishing a base over There.  They work like mountaineers, connected by safety ropes, establishing guide ropes, so that in the end, a web of interconnections is built around the world.  You only have to tug the ties to remind people you're there, to draw people in to you. You only have to sense the tugs on the ropes to know they're there.
