 2017 Exhibitions

Pas de Deux

Picture
I was delighted - and honoured- to be able to put this exhibition together showing my  work alongside that of Mary Palmer, Marimu Designs. I have long been a fan of Mary's work. She has a sense of the overall and also of the detail that provides interest at whatever scale you choose to zoom into when looking at her pieces. I was surprised at the way the constructive elements, the geometry and colours of our combined work  bounced off each other, different but complementary.

SOLO EXHIBITION

Much of my work integrates discarded and obsolete items. Incorporated into this set of pieces are audio tapes and vertical blinds gathered from the former government building on Sullivan's Quay (which is due for demolition this year). Using the past to celebrate the timeless, the work hints at dance, movement and music rising out of score sheets.
