I really like Japanese koinoburi fish-shaped kites.
I also really like repurposing materials. So what better thing to do than to make fish kites from discarded umbrellas? If you are member of a community group and would like to make fish kites and talk about environmental issues, Contact me! If you have any dead umbrellas, contact me! I'm gathering material to make as many fish kites as possible with the aim of displaying our SHOAL alongside the Harbour Festival at Blackrock. And if you know a young rower that might be interested in An Rás Mór, the short course registration will be there too. |
